In terms of globalization from local data, the progression begins: bundles, gerbes, ... In a certain sense, fibrations that are locally homotopy trivial is the limiting case, in that data over arbitrary multiple intersections of a covering by open sets may be necessary to determine the global object. The talk will be based primarily on the unpublished thesis of James Wirth of 1965!
