One of the key questions in Riemannian geometry is whether a given space admits metrics with some curvature conditions. In this talk I will cover one method for increasing the amount of positive curvature on a manifold. In particular, I will demonstrate Wilking's construction of a metric on $S^3\times S^2$ with positive curvature almost everywhere.
