Knot Floer homology is a powerful invariant for knots developed by Ozsvath and Szabo, and independently Rasmussen. For knots and links in S^3, it can be defined in a combinatorial manner using grid diagrams. In this talk, I will describe the combinatorial construction and also describe how one can extract pairwise linking numbers from the knot Floer homology of a link.
