I will review a paper by Connes and Kriemer, where they construct a Hopf algebra structure on \phi3, d=6 quantum field theory. This allows them to give the Feynman diagrams of this theory a Lie algebra structure. Finally they show that the problem of renormalization via dimentional regularization can be reformulated in terms of Birkhoff decomposition around the pole of z=6.
