This talk will be about joint work with George Pappas and Martin Taylor on Euler characteristics of the structure sheaves of curves over Z having an action of a finite group. The methods I will explain originate in work of Pappas, and involve the Theorem of the Cube and the Deligne Riemann Roch Theorem.
