Todd Parsons

Penn Biology job candidate

Location

University of Pennsylvania

Lynch Labs room 218 (Biology dept.)

This seminar is ideal for mathematicians interested in theoretical aspects of population biology.

Todd has a background in arithmetic geometry, but he has moved into theoretical population genetics. He will speak about his work using diffusion theory to study the probability of a gene's fixation in a replicating population of non-constant size.
