"In the Eye's Mind: Visions of Higher Dimensions in Art, Math and Science" A symposium on artistic and cultural efforts to envision higher dimensional geometries. Monday, October 16, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Wilson Hall, Room 205 42nd Street and Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia Held in conjunction with the Misher Festival of the Arts Keynote speakers: Linda Dalrymple Henderson, University of Texas at Austin, author of "The Fourth Dimension and Non-Euclidean Geometry in Modern Art" will be speaking on "The Fourth Dimension as Leitmotif of 20th-Century Art." Tony Robbin, founder of Pattern Painting and author of "Shadows of Reality: The Fourth Dimension in Relativity, Cubism and Modern Thought” will be speaking on: "How to Draw a Picture of Spacetime." Invited speakers: Thomas Banchoff, Brown University, author of “Beyond the Third Dimension: Geometry, Computer Graphics and Higher Dimensions.” J. Scott Carter, University of South Alabama, “Beyond the 4th dimension: Visualising Information in the N-cube with the Aid of Computer Software.” Satyan L.
