A gentle review of knot theory leads us into a suspenseful tale of surgery on four-manifolds whose denouement is a pun. Formally, we construct an infinite family of three-fold branched covers of B^4 and explain how this construction fits into a program to classify dihedral branched covers of four-manifolds.
