In this talk I will present certain aspects of the work by Kohno, which describes a relation between the linear space of finite type invariants forn-strand braids, and the cohomology classes in the loop space of the configurationspace of n points in R^m. These cohomology classes are naturally represented byiterated integrals and lead to integral invariants for n-component links.
