A magnetic geodesic describes the trajectory of a charged particle in a magnetic field, and can be thought of as a generalization of a geodesic (recovered when the magnetic field is 0). I will introduce the concept of a magnetic geodesic and magnetic flow, and discuss some boundary rigidity results in this setting. We will also see how this can be used to show a rigidity statement regarding curves of constant geodesic curvature.
