A discussion of joint work with Thomas Strobl on solutions of Poisson Sigma Models with a special emphasis on the Poisson geometry involved. Poisson Sigma Models have been introduced as a unified description of gravity, Yang-Mills and various other theories in two space-time dimensions. After a review of their formulation we discuss new results about particular solutions and the relation to Poisson geometry.
