We discuss the ancient Pythagorean theorem from its original formulation to its formulation in more advanced mathematical settings. Though the possibilities for this discussion range from the primitive to the most advanced mathematics, we'll keep our examination within the range of (advanced) undergraduate subjects - mostly linear algebra.
