After a brief recap of my talk from last semester, I will give a derivation of the 3-variate generating function for the entries of rotation matrices, which came from the study of angular momentum in quantum mechanics. Based on how much time is left, I will talk a bit about the asymptotic analysis of this generating function. Knowledge of quantum physics will neither be assumed nor bestowed.
