This work is motivated by a fundamental problem in sensor networks -- the need to aggregate redundant sensor data across a network. This talk will show a clear, simple application of the topology of constructible sheaves to data aggregation and, more suggestively, data integration. The talk will use tools from constructible sheaves, o-minimal structures, and Morse theory. However, little to no knowledge of these subjects is required for the talk; even less background on sensor networks will be assumed.
