We will continue our discussion of Tao´s paper "Expanding polynomials over finite fields of large characteristic, and a regularity lemma for definable sets" (http://arxiv.org/abs/1211.2894). In this session we will focus on the use of the etale fundamental group in Lemma 30, with an emphasis on characteristic p phenomena.
