I will talk about a particular modular operad inspired by the graph complex introduced by Maxim Kontsevich in the paper "Formal (non)-commutative symplectic geometry." If time will permit, I will discuss the link of this modular operad to the algebra of chord diagrams (in the sense of Dror Bar-Natan and Pierre Vogel).
