The Engineering department's Kodlab demonstrates how a simple hexapedal robot can walk, run, jump, and follow walls. By using a concepts from topology and differential geometry our robot can do everything from climbing hills in the deserts of Navada to doing robo-parkour jumps. We will give live demonstrations and explain the math behind the algorithms that let us accomplish the behaviors.
