I will present an extension of the nonabelian Hodge theorem of Simpson in which the underlying objects are twisted vector bundles over a smooth complex projective variety.

I will not assume any prior knowledge of either nonabelian Hodge theory or twisted vector bundles. In fact, just a little knowledge of principal bundles should make much of the talk accessible. Towards the end, it might help knowing what a homotopy limit is.
