The plan of the talk is to, first, give a short introduction to Berkovich spaces, and second, following Lepage, to show how Berkovich spaces techniques can be applied to solve the so called "resolution of non-singularities" for Mumford curves. The full answer to the non-resolution of singularities is related -among other things- to the p-adic section conjecture.
