Constant mean curvature (CMC) surfaces are the geometric models of bubbles and droplets. While few CMC surfaces can be parametrized explicitly, some of their moduli spaces do have an explicit description; this leads to a remarkable correspondence between these CMC surfaces and complex polynomials.
