I will first discuss previous results on the interplay between the geometry of bounded domains in several complex variables and the spectrum of the d-bar-Neumann Laplacian. I will then explain the proof of the fact that one can determine the finite type condition of a domain in two complex dimensions via the spectrum of the d-bar-Neumann Laplacian.
